Hailey in the back yard. Photos taken, I believe, by Eden. It's annoying that other people can capture such nice images with my camera. Really dispels the self-perpetuated rumor that I have "special photography powers". Although the fairly adorable subject matter didn't hurt either. I wasn't out there when they were taken, but I'm thinking the idea here was to show her hair before it changed... again... dark this time... girls...

Clutch Play

As part of a recruitment effort, Hailey was asked to submit 15 designs to a purse company looking to add to their stable of designers. While she had never done any accessory design, she went right to work sketching. She did all of the design and color... I added the sweet Charlie Harper style straps. She even had a brief interview yesterday when she dropped off the work. Who knows where it will all end up. But ither way, not bad for a rookie. A few samples...

Last Rays

Direct Hit. Near Miss.

This was Friday morning around 11:15. Tracy and Hailey running errands... hit broadside by a nice family who ran the light. No brakes. No skid. Unbelievably, no one was hurt. Mostly just shaken up and sore. I picked them up here and they dropped me back at the office less than an hour later. Back to work... Focused on other stuff. It was only later that I really thought about how different things might have been.
